Where are the lists
« on: November 13, 2021, 05:02:25 PM »
When are we going to see some lists?  It is best to check that the rules really work by playing semi competitive games with draft lists before committing to publication.

Fail to prepare and you should prepare to fail is an old adage, but true.

Mike.

Thanks for joining us for the launch event at Salute 2021.
Covid has made it a bit chaotic but we are nearly there.
I will update more fully after a day with PSC on Monday.

Here are 3 British lists in zip format.
A typical force is a BHQ plus bits, two CHQs with units.
Mark will post more samples shortly.

I can't see the points totals or work out which units (if any) are compulsory.

So having a brief look at the sample lists it seems like there are no points values? Is this correct or have I made a big assumption?

Hi

Points values will be online so we can optimise them, and built into an army builder with an easy drop down system.
Been a massive succcess with the players in MeG and ReG done that way.
We will also issue them as a PDF list for those few who don't like computers.

Hi

It's no problem at all if there are no points values as all the games we play in WW2 are historical scenarios.  It was just a surprise not to see them

Mark does mainly historical games and i do ainly points games so we will cover both for sure.  But it is far more effective having them online.
We can adapt them to player experience.  The Mortem et Gloriam ones were optimised over 4 years.
It is impossible to get them right at the outset so we don't believe in printing incorrect ones in lists and rule books.
